Century-old, three-generation family fly-in lodge on 5,600-acre Big Canon Lake, about 25 miles from Vermilion Bay between Dryden and Kenora, Ontario. Guests arrive by Wilderness Air floatplane, with a boat ferry from North Star Lodge as an alternative for housekeeping-plan guests. American plan and weekly housekeeping packages include private cabins with full baths and 24-hour electricity, a boat and motor per pair of anglers, unlimited gas, and access to five portage lakes plus an adjacent river system. The lake yields walleye, smallmouth bass, lake trout, muskie, and northern pike.
