Red Lake

Boat-in fishing camp on Red Lake, 20 miles by water from the town of Red Lake and the nearest highway; guests drive to the camp's town dock and are ferried out aboard the camp boat. Stays run on American or housekeeping plans in private cabins with bathrooms, showers, and 24-hour generator electricity, with a boat, motor, and fuel per pair of anglers and the conservation fishing licence reimbursed. Fly-in outpost operator and float-plane base at Cochenour, six miles east of Red Lake in northwestern Ontario. Remote outpost cabins on Brownstone Lake (74 air miles, 4-10 guests), Headwaters Lake (120 miles, 4-6) and Sumach Lake (32 miles, 4-6) serve self-directed walleye and northern pike trips, with perch also present at Brownstone. The company additionally runs an air charter service and moose and bear hunting packages.
