On Trout Lake
Fly-in lodge on an island in Trout Lake, a roughly 20-minute floatplane flight north of Red Lake, Ontario, on a lake reachable only by air. The core offering is a light-housekeeping package in lakeside chalet cottages with daily towel and bed service, boats and daily fuel, and the round-trip flight included; home-cooked meals can be added per meal and shore lunches are provided most days. Anglers pursue trophy northern pike, lake trout, and walleye. Owned and run by Jim and Tracy Booi.
