Thistle Lake (lac des Îles) is the 213th-largest of 4,179 named lakes in Northeastern Ontario, with 20 miles of charted shoreline and 23 islands. The lake lies 24 km north of West Nipissing. Its 61 ft maximum depth is greater than 69% of depth-surveyed lakes in the region.
