On Aerobus Lake
The only resort on Aerobus Lake near Perrault Falls in Ontario's Kenora District, reached by 25 km (16 miles) of rugged dirt road to a boat landing and then about two miles of water to a peninsula. Eight housekeeping cabins with linens, kitchens, wood stoves, a central bathhouse, woodfired sauna and hot showers; packages include a 14 or 16 ft Lund boat with a 15 or 20 hp Yamaha, first tank of gas, and use of three portage lakes. The lake is given as 5,200 acres with 36 miles of shoreline and depths over 200 feet, holding lake trout, northern pike, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, walleye and burbot; a guided baited archery bear hunt is offered in September.
