Family-run lodge in the French River Provincial Park delta at Alban, Ontario, operating since 1925 and reached by a short boat ride or water taxi from the Hartley Bay Marina. Guests fish the French River delta, the Pickerel River and Georgian Bay for muskie, walleye, bass, northern pike, crappie and catfish, using rented 16-foot aluminum boats with 25hp motors or hiring guides. Accommodation is one-, two- and three-bedroom housekeeping cottages plus main lodge rooms, sold either self-catered or on an American Plan with three cooked meals a day; black bear hunt and fishing combo packages are offered on request.
