Marie; both islands are reachable by car. Accommodation is eight waterfront cottages sleeping one to six plus the 1907 McKay Island Lighthouse, all self-catering with kitchens, barbecues and fire pits, and canoes, kayaks, bikes, trails and docks are included. Fishing is on the North Channel of Lake Huron and nearby inland lakes and rivers for northern pike, walleye, bass, trout and salmon, arranged through independent local guides rather than in-house staff.
