Remote fly-in housekeeping fishing camp on Upper Goose Lake, about 65 air miles northeast of Red Lake in northwestern Ontario, owned by the Metzner family since 1980. Guests fish for walleye and northern pike; the camp practises catch-and-release and states that fish netting on the lake was ended by agreement with the local First Nation. Packages are housekeeping only and include the charter flight from Red Lake with a 150 lb gear allowance, a Lund S-16 boat with a 15 HP motor and unlimited gasoline, cabins with kitchen, full bathroom and bedding, and camp wi-fi; taxes, fishing licences, bait and groceries are not included.
