On Cameron Lake · On Cameron Lake · On Cameron Lake
Family-run housekeeping camp on Cameron Lake, reached by 23 km of water from Oba, Ontario, with six rustic cabins that have propane fridges and stoves, generator power limited to evenings and mostly cold running water plus a shower house and fish-cleaning station. Cameron Lake and the connected river system hold walleye, northern pike, perch and whitefish, with the lake running about 7.1 km long and 3.2 km wide over shallow water of roughly 6 to 21 feet. After buying Payeur Outfitters in November 2022 the operation also sells black bear and resident moose hunts on private property in WMU 22 and part of WMU 23, about 7 km north of the lake.
