On Dusey Lake
Dusey River Adventures runs three housekeeping outpost cabins out of Nakina, Ontario: Hanover Lake (drive-to, sleeps 12) plus fly-in cabins on Tyler Lake and Dusey Lake (each sleeps 8, about 70 air miles north of Nakina), with one cabin per lake. Waters hold northern pike, walleye, yellow perch and whitefish, with brook trout in the Dusey River, Hanover River and Lucy Creek; adjacent Lucy Lake holds splake, brook and lake trout. Guests self-cater; the operator applies release rules above Ontario limits (all brook trout, walleye over 18 in, pike over 27 in) and accommodates self-guided moose and grouse hunting, including resident bear tag holders.
