On Klotz Lake
Housekeeping resort on the sandy shore of Klotz Lake in northern Ontario, about 43 km east of Longlac off Highway 11, with a log main lodge and ten cottages. Guests fish Klotz Lake and Flint Lake, connected by the Flint River, for walleye, northern pike, perch and lake trout, with access to remote trophy lakes; boats are 14-foot Lunds with 15hp motors, with a 20hp electric-start upgrade available. The operator also runs a boat-in outpost cottage sleeping eight on 3,200-acre Flint Lake, and offers guided black bear hunts and grouse hunting packages.
