Drive-to lodge on a nine-acre peninsula on Caribou Lake at the end of Caribou Lake Road near Armstrong Station, roughly three hours north of Thunder Bay and across the lake from Wabakimi Provincial Park. Nine self-catering (housekeeping) cabins and chalets with equipped kitchens, generator power, WiFi, freezer service and a private deep-water boat launch; 16 ft tiller boats with 30-50 hp motors rent separately. Caribou Lake holds walleye (including blue walleye), northern pike, lake trout and whitefish, with brook trout in nearby rivers; the lodge also hosts moose hunters (bow and gun seasons from mid-September) and grouse hunters (ruffed, spruce and sharp-tailed).
