Gow-Bush-Kon Lodge operates nine cabins on the east side of Gowganda Lake and describes itself as the oldest active lodge on that lake. Guests can take American plan with meals in the main lodge dining room or self-cater, and boats are kept on Gowganda Lake plus out lakes including Stumpy, Hangingstone, Obushkon and Elk Horn lakes and the Wapus River. Species include walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, perch and lake trout; the lodge also runs fall black bear hunts over a 255 sq km bear management area with pre-baited stands and moose hunts in WMU 40.
