Family-owned housekeeping lodge on Mattagami Lake near Gogama, run by Russell and Linda Thibodeau, with a main lodge, seven self-catering cottages and a boat-access outpost cabin built in 2002 about three quarters of a mile down the lake (sleeps 12, four-person minimum). Guests fish the lake for walleye, northern pike, whitefish, perch and smallmouth bass, with about 40 miles of connected waterway available. The operator also runs rifle and archery black bear hunts, moose hunts, grouse hunting and ATV trips; the lodge is solar powered, so cabins have propane cooktops without ovens and high-draw electrical devices are not permitted.
