American-plan fishing lodge on an island in Lady Evelyn Lake, Northeastern Ontario, reached by ferry, a 400 m portage and a 35-minute cruiser run from Mowatt's Landing rather than by road. Target species are walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass; the package covers three meals a day with shore-lunch kits, daily housekeeping, fish cleaning and freezer service, and a 16 ft Lund with a 25 hp electric-start Yamaha, fish finder, bait and unlimited fuel per two or three guests. Ten engineered log cabins have indoor bathrooms with showers, running water, refrigerators and wood or propane heat; boats and portable motors are also provided on nearby walk-to lakes.
