On Esnagi Lake
Family-run fishing lodge on Esnagi Lake near White River, Ontario, operated by the MacLachlan family since 1959 and reached by floatplane or by rail. Guests fish 27-mile Esnagi Lake for walleye, northern pike, whitefish and perch, with a portage to nearby Rock Lake for spring brook and lake trout. Both an American plan (three meals daily in the main lodge) and a deluxe housekeeping plan with continental breakfast are offered; packages include a 16-ft Lund with a 20-25 hp four-stroke outboard and gasoline for each two or three anglers.
