Drive-in fishing lodge on Lost Lake between Elk Lake and Gowganda in northeastern Ontario, off Highway 560 about 30 km west of Elk Lake. The operation is the only lodge on a chain of eight lakes fished for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and brook trout, with catch-and-release enforced and no fish permitted to leave camp. Guests stay in private lakeside cottages with kitchens, bathrooms, satellite TV, barbecues and fire pits, so housekeeping is the base arrangement with an optional meal plan of breakfast and dinner at the cottage plus a packed lunch; a 14-foot boat with a 9.9 HP outboard is supplied per two full-fare guests, remote lakes have 14-foot boats with 8 HP Yamaha four-strokes, and gas, live bait and lake maps are included.
