Family-run drive-to lodge on McLennan Lake about 10 miles south of Chapleau, Ontario, operating since 1957. Six housekeeping lakefront cottages sleeping up to ten; guests fish walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, brook trout, whitefish and perch, with walleye on McLennan Lake restricted to catch-and-release on barbless hooks and a dozen-plus backcountry lakes 10-60 minutes away reached with trailered boats. Spring black bear and fall grouse hunting are offered, and the lodge borders the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve; bedding is not supplied.
