North of 51 Outposts is a family-run fly-in operation hosted by Dwight and Karen Monck, with a road-accessible base camp about six miles north of Pickle Lake, Ontario. It offers five remote outpost lakes - Bow, Otoskwin, Nanos, Littleford and Wettlaufer - each with a single cabin, fished for walleye and northern pike; moose hunting is also offered. Cabins are housekeeping units with showers, hot and cold running water, propane or solar lighting, wood stoves, propane appliances, fish cookers, two-way radios and 14-foot Lund boats with 9.9hp motors and unlimited gas; guests may overnight free at the base camp before flying out and are limited to 100 lbs of baggage per person.
