Press Lake Camp is a drive-to housekeeping camp on Press Lake, on the English River system about an hour north of Ignace via Highway 599 and the Valora road. It is the only tourist operation on the lake, which has roughly 73 miles of shoreline and holds walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass. Seven housekeeping cabins with flush toilets, showers, gas ranges and supplied bedding sit on a sand beach alongside a 12-site campground with shower house and freezer storage; boats, motors, guiding, bait, gas and ice are available at camp, and grouse, waterfowl and moose hunts are offered in the fall.
