Year-round lakefront cabin resort on Eleanor Lake inside Whiteshell Provincial Park, about an hour east of Winnipeg, letting six self-catering cabins with jacuzzis, hot tubs, wood fireplaces and full kitchens. Guests fish, swim and boat from a private beach and dock — canoes, kayaks and paddle boats come with the cabin and fishing boats rent separately — and it stays open through the winter for snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
