Housekeeping-cottage resort on a peninsula on the South River near where it enters Lake Nipissing, operating since 1939 with five cottages sleeping four to five. Guests fish Lake Nipissing for walleye, northern pike, musky, and smallmouth and largemouth bass; rental boats with four-stroke outboards and GPS electronics are available to guests only, with sheltered docking on Beatty Creek. The operation also sells fall deer-hunting packages that combine lodging with the hunt, winter ice-fishing bungalows, and guided walleye and musky charters.
