Seasonal housekeeping cottage resort of 17 units on about 1,600 feet of shoreline on Lower Buckhorn Lake at Buckhorn, Ontario, beside the dam at Lock 31 of the Trent-Severn Waterway. Units range from one-bedroom cabins to three-bedroom cottages plus three year-round one-bedroom suites, a converted caboose and the former owner's residence; all have kitchens, linens and gas BBQs, and guests get free docking, boat rentals and canoes. Lower Buckhorn Lake holds walleye, muskie, smallmouth and largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill and perch, with an ice-fishing season for perch and crappie. Hosts are Korin and Louis Melizan.
