Timberlane Rustic Lodges is a self-catering cottage resort with nine lakeside cabins of one to four bedrooms on 200 acres at Timberlane Bay, on the south shore of Lake Manitou on Manitoulin Island. Guests fish Lake Manitou, which the operator describes as having 90 miles of shoreline and depths to 162 feet, for lake trout, bass, perch, whitefish, pike and walleye. On-site facilities include a sandy beach, floating dock and nightly lakefront fire, with 17ft Stanley fishing boats, a 24ft pontoon, canoes and kayaks for rent.
