On Pakwash Lake
Family-run housekeeping lodge on the Trout River north of Ear Falls off Highway 105, operated by Bill and Laura Deschamps as the third generation since 1965. Eleven waterfront cabins have full kitchens, three-piece bathrooms and twin-bed bedrooms, and the river gives access to Pakwash, East, Lower and Upper Bruce Lakes for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass in fisheries management zone 4. The lodge also runs guided black bear hunts over pre-baited sites, guided and self-guided archery and rifle moose hunts, guided winter wolf hunts from heated blinds, and has RV and camping sites plus boat rentals and dockage.
