Guided black bear and timber wolf outfitter operating since 1988, now run by sole proprietor Garth Matyasovszky, with a main camp about 50 miles north of Thunder Bay and roughly 2,500 sq mi of exclusive hunting area. Bear hunts are 5 days over 6 nights with accommodations, three home-style meals daily, multiple baited sites, pre-installed ladder stands and ground blinds set up for bow, rifle, crossbow or muzzleloader, plus tracking and retrieval assistance at no extra charge. Wolf hunts run December to March from baited blinds; boats, canoes and freezer storage are available and guests can fish area lakes for walleye, northern pike and bass between sits.
