Drive-in fishing and family lodge on the French River at Wolseley Bay, established in 1928 and about 3.5 hours north of Toronto. Sixteen cabins of one to four bedrooms sit riverside or on the hillside above the bay, offered as housekeeping, as fishing packages with a 16-foot Legend boat, gas and live bait, as a dinner-inclusive deluxe fishing package, or as a full meal plan with breakfast and lunch to go and dinner in the lodge dining room; a modified plan is available for guests bringing their own boat, with dockage with hydro. Anglers fish roughly 25 km of the French River for walleye, northern pike, muskie, bass, crappie, catfish and perch, with the lodge sited at the mouth of the Wolseley River spawning grounds. Boats, pontoons, guides, a fish cleaning hut and freezing facilities are available, and canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boats are included for guests.
