A licence is the easy half; the rules attached to it are zone law with per-lake exceptions, and those are data, not prose. Every lake page here prints its zone's seasons and limits, any exception that applies only to that water, and the consumption advisories — free, from the same provincial sources the official summaries print. Start from the water you are considering, or from the trip finder if you don't have one yet.
